Sometimes, out of nowhere we are struck with tragedy, heartache and suffering. Jesus tells us we will go through these trials while walking the earth.
“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
While these terrible things are happening to us, we will be pulled in multiple directions and doubt can creep in concerning God’s truths and goodness. This doubt will try and take a strong hold on your faith. Do not fear this. At these times it is necessary to lean into our King. Ask Him in prayer the tough questions you need answers to. Ask Him why! Ask Him to grant you a bit understanding. Ask Him to show you a glimpse of the beauty He is going to make out of the trials you are facing. Ask for patience as He works things out for your good.
“…but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”-Isaiah 40:31. We have a never changing King who loves you and is for you! Rest in Him.
“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31
