Jesus has changed my life by breaking chains I could not break. He gave me life and set me free. My purpose is to serve the broken and hopeless. To show those who struggle with addiction or hopelessness, if they will cryout to Jesus, He will set them free. Guaranteed! It’s all about King Jesus–His grace, love and power.

I have seen Jesus use this ministry to give homeless individuals and families the strength to make it a day longer and the hope that an abundant life is possible.  ‬ ‭

Everyone experiences hard times and I’ve certainly had mine.  It’s during those times that people need kindness, compassion, hope and the love of God the very most.  Everyone has a story and everyone needs to be heard.  I want to hear those stories and I want to show the kindness and compassion that was shown to me. I love to witness how God provides, heals and delivers everyday just like he did for me.  I love being part of His work!

Why I serve: “For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’ … ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.’” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭25:35-40 I serve to give hope to the hopeless.

The first time I went to an outreach with Hearts Full of Love I wasn’t sure what to expect. God had put the opportunity in front of me so I stepped into it. I was immediately all in! So many Saturdays that I could have slept in God nudged me out and blessed me beyond measure every single time! The reality was that so many friends we met just needed someone to believe in them, someone to hear them , someone to show them another way.  I love being a small part of what GOD is doing through HFOL!

I have always gravitated to the service work aspects of non-profits and ministry and this is one consistent priority in my life. I am passionate about finding and loving those who go unnoticed by the world but not by our One True King.  I am counseled by the Great Counselor and that is what I love to share. He breaks my heart for what breaks His and if I can serve Him through numbers, budgets and excel spreadsheets then by God I’m going to do it.   hen I serve with Hearts Full of Love, I know it’s a good opportunity to do what we are called to do as believers; to follow in the footsteps of Christ and serve those in our community who are in need of help. I hope to help meet their physical needs, and, more importantly, share with them the love, hope, and peace that I have felt in my own life through my faith in Christ.

I consider it an honor to work with the less fortunate –  because I believe we are on this earth for a divine purpose.  Created to honor God and fulfill our purpose on earth.  Simply to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Walk humbly – speak with love- extend our hands as He did- and LOVE His people where they are-  with an agape kind of love.
